We bought a second-hand horse-box at the end of June, and Jay competed in three or four local shows during the month. Clyde performed wonderfully well for her, and she has come home placed in all the classes she has competed in. On Sunday 17, Jay achieved her best results to date, winning first place in two dressage classes. Well done to both Jay and Clyde.

The month brought summer weather at last, and we had a couple of barbecues, the first during Helen’s visit at the beginning of the month.

Roger has had a few warm days on the bowling green, though the season is already well over half way through. He also had check-ups with both doctor and dentist, with no alarms from either, I’m pleased to say.
